skye blu is collaborating on an art project with the aim to show women’s beauty in all forms.

we are seeking women 18-80 to model for complimentary photography sessions that capture physical and emotional challenges and celebrate it’s beauty. From overcoming a negative self perception to withstanding and growing from a traumatic experience, we’d like to focus on that realization of one’s beauty and self acceptance. The object is to tastefully illuminate beauty in all forms, revealing the story of adversity conquered and confidence through beautiful photographs. These published images will serve as inspiration to others that are experiencing similar challenges or perceptions.

we are seeking:

mastectomy (with or without reconstructive surgery)

birthmark or another physical attribute you’ve grown to love and appreciate

divorce or other life event that resulted in a beautiful change

scarring

suicide survivor

cutter scars

amputation

burns

rape or abuse survivor

hair loss

we are also open to your ideas, if you have an incredible story of adversity conquered, please let us know. We’d love to her from you and can evaluate if it would fit within this upcoming project.
